Snowbrawl
My largest and most recent Unity project, completed in April 2021. A 3rd person snowball fight game based on Snowfight, an early 3D browser game.
Challenges included programming my own 3D character controller and setting up deformable meshes to simulate snowy surfaces.
The music and audio were produced by Soothill Audio Media.
Delectable Collectables
A Unity project completed for the week long game jam VimJam 2020, on the theme ‘there and back’, with a focus on collectables.
Delectable Collectable is a 2D platformer where each level is completed in both directions, with the blocks and collectables swapping places at the turning point.
My first game to include audio. Another collaboration with Soothill Audio Media.
Magical Mayhem
Both my first game made using Unity and my first 3D game, Magical Mayhem was made for the 48 hour GMTK Game Jam 2020 on the theme ‘out of control’.
The player controls a wizard who has lost control of his wand and is forced to fend off goblins with spells selected at random.
Dot Dot Dash
A project completed using the Godot Engine for the 48 hour GMTK Game Jam 2019 on the theme ‘only one’.
Dot Dot Dash is a puzzle game with a one button control scheme. The player must use dot and dash inputs to control a robot and solve box and button based puzzles.
Juiceless Joyride
My first completed game, made using the Construct 2 engine for the 48 hour GMTK Game Jam 2018 on the theme of ‘genre without mechanic’.
Juiceless Joyride is a racing game with no accelerator (and no set track). The player must pick up collectables to speed up and keep moving whilst outrunning police cars in an area with randomly paces roads and obstacles.
